Valerie Jocelyn Moore of Elizabeth City, North Carolina entered eternal rest on February 18, 2023, at The Citadel in Elizabeth City, North Carolina.  She was the daughter of the late William Artis Moore and the late Olivia Lee Roundtree Moore.  In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by her brother and sister, Calvin Moore and Evoria M. Turner and son Micah Moore.   

Celebration of Life Services will be Saturday, February 25, 2023, 4:00 p.m. at Beach River Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Gordon Dove, Eulogist.  Visitation/viewing will be Friday, February 24, 2023 from 5 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home.  Masks are still required for all services.

 Valerie leaves to cherish her memory two daughters:  Nykisiah Dawson (Tony) and Teva Moore; one brother:  Bradford Moore; two sisters: Sandra M. Cooper and C. B. Moore; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
