Senior Master Chief Odel Moore, Jr. entered eternal rest on Thursday, January 18, 2024, at Elizabeth City Health and Rehabilitation Center in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. He was the son of the late Odel Moore, Sr. and the late Allean Swain Moore and the husband of Mary S. Moore. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one brother, James A. Moore and two sisters, Colleen Moore, and Delores Stephens.
A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, January 24, 2024, 12:00 noon at Beach River Funeral Home Chapel, Elizabeth City, North Carolina with Rev. Javan Leach, Officiating.
Senior Master Chief Moore leaves to cherish his memories a devoted wife, Mary S. Moore of the home; one daughter, Samantha (Kenneth) and one son, Anthony Moore, both of Wake Forest, North Carolina; three grandchildren, Mya, Kyla and Kennedy Williams, all of Wake Forest, North Carolina; one brother, Rev. Willie R. Moore (Fanita), Houston, Texas, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
