Nena A (Williams) Washington

Mrs. Nena Washington entered eternal rest on June 1, 2022 at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center, Elizabeth City, North Carolina. One of four children, Nena was born on August 5, 1965 to the late Mr. Birble Williams and the late Mrs. Elton Stewart Williams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Anthony Washington.

Celebration of Life Services will be Saturday, June 11, 2022, 12:00 noon at Beach River Funeral Home Chapel, Elizabeth City, North Carolina, Bishop David White, Eulogist.   Family Visitation will be Friday, June 10, 2022, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.  A Floating Family and Friends Gathering will be held at the Newland Providence Ruritan Club on June 10, 2022, from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m., 1010-1002 US-Hwy 158, Elizabeth City, North Carolina 27909. Masks are still required for all services.

Nena leaves to cherish her memories  her devoted and beloved husband Robert Washington; three children, Lakia Williams, Nekia Williams, and Ihela Jackson-Bright (Deshawn; ), three brothers, Clement Williams (Dominique), Eugene Williams Sr., and Cimeon Williams; one sister, Vikki Eason (David); five grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
