Marvin Clayton Etheridge Jr., 66 entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 13, 2020.

Celebration of Life Service is Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 1:00pm at New Providence Missionary Baptist Church, 876 E. Ridge Rd, Shawboro, NC 27973. Viewing will be held Friday, February 21, 2020 from 5-8pm with the family receiving friends from 6-8pm  at the funeral home.

Marvin’s memory will be cherished and kept alive by: his loving wife and caregiver, Linda Faye Etheridge; two sons, Bobby Damon Etheridge(Triece) of McKinney, Texas and Kevin Spellman, Moyock, NC; six daughters, Misty Etheridge, Barco, NC, Kendra Etheridge, Sioux Falls, SD, Charlene Simmons, Elizabeth City, NC, Fatima Fasion (Marcus), Elizabeth City, NC, Heavenly Dawson(Maurice), Fort Hood, Texas, Robin Roberts( Oral), Stone Mountain, GA; 17 grandchildren, Patrieka, Royjamian, Andrew, Shomon, Yafat, Jr., Jasmine, Virginia, Jaxon, Lyric, Kingston, Chyna, Michael, Darin, Quantrel. Justus, Alivia, Serenity, and Amari; 7 great grandchildren; devoted mother, Evelyn S. Etheridge, New Cannan, CT; two sisters, Antionette Seymore (Barry), Chesapeake, VA and Myra Tucker (Tracy), Summerville, SC; brother, Elder Winfred Basnight, Jr. (Debbie), Moyock, NC; aunt, Doris Knight, Edgewater, MD; sister in law, Elder Wanda Hughes, Elizabeth City, NC; special little friend, Keith Jones, III; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and longtime friends.
