Joseph Andrew Forbes

Joseph Andrew Forbes of Charlotte, North Carolina entered eternal rest on Tuesday, February 1,
2023 at Novant Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina. He was the son of the late
Jessie W. Forbes and the late Helen H. Forbes and the husband of Gloria Jean Forbes.
Joseph was a United States Marine and served in the Vietnam War.

Celebration of Life Services will be Friday, February 10, 2023, 12:00 noon at New Shiloh
Missionary Baptist Church, 168 South Trotman Road, Shawboro, NC 27963 with Pastor William T. Davis, Eulogist and
Dr. Larry Mercer, Presiding. Family viewing/visitation will be Thursday February 9, 2023 from
5 – 7 p.m. at the Beach River Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Forbes Family Cemetery on Smith
Corner Road, Camden, North Carolina. Masks are required for all services.

In addition to his loving wife of the home, Joseph leaves to cherish his memories, one daughter:
Latoya Shante Forbes, Charlotte, North Carolina; two sisters, Wilma D. F. Bond, Baltimore,
Maryland and Brenda F. Sawyer (William), Camden, North Carolina and a host of other relatives
and friends.
