Henry B Powers

Mr. Henry B. Powers of Elizabeth City, North Carolina entered eternal rest peacefully on August 30, 2022 at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center, Elizabeth City, North Carolina with his daughters by his side.  He was the son of the late Noah Garland Powers, Sr. (Bug) and the late Ivey Victoria Balance Powers and the husband of the late Edna Harrell Powers of forty-three years.  He was also predeceased by his sister Beth Ruth Jordan and a brother, William Powers (Buddy). 

A Memorial Service will be Friday, September 2, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Beach River Funeral Home Chapel, Elizabeth City, North Carolina.  The Family will receive friends on Thursday, September 1, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.  Masks will be required for all services.

Henry leaves to cherish his memories, two daughters, April Brooks (Melvin) and Jessica Powers (Robert Curlings); one brother, Noah Garland Powers, Jr. (Moose); five grandchildren, Tiera Simpson, Taylia Brooks, Victoria Curlings, Jacob Curlings and Mikey Curlings; his first unborn great-grandson Lennox Rascoe; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
