Frederick Carter Boyd Jr. entered eternal rest on June 8, 2022 at the Garnett Medical Center, Middletown, New York. He was born to Frederick C. Boyd, Sr and the late Shirley Mae Shannon Boyd on November 15, 1962. 

Celebration of Life Services will be Tuesday, June 21, 2022, 12 noon at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, Elizabeth City, North Carolina, Rev. Dr. Ricky L. Banks, Eulogist. Interment will be in the Dove’s Landing Cemetery, Elizabeth City, North Carolina.  Viewing and Family Visitation will be Monday, June 20, 2022 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home. There will also be a viewing 1 hour prior to the beginning of service at the church.  Masks are still required for all services.

Frederick (Fred’s) memories will be cherished and kept alive by his wife, Angela of the home; three sons, Frederick III (Alexandria), Charlotte, North Carolina, Jason (Fedgina) and Sean (Connie) both of New York, New York; one daughter, Shantel, Chester, New York; three grandsons, Jalen, Fred IV, and Sean Jr.; six granddaughters, Deandria, Rhianna, Charleigh, Ryleigh, Jasmine and Cassandra; his father, Frederick Sr., Camden, North Carolina; two sisters, Valerie, Antioch, Tennessee and Theresa, Hampton, Virginia; brother-in-law’s, Herbert Bracey, Bronx, New York and Anthony, Antioch, Tennessee; sister-in-law, Tamika, Bronx, New York; nephews, Marvin, Newport News, Virginia, Tevin, Bronx, New York and Dashawn, Brooklyn, New York; nieces, (goddaughter) Valine, Hampton, Virginia, Imani and Natasha both of Bronx, New York; great niece, Endya, Hampton, Virginia and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and his special friends and co-workers; Tina McCain, Flash, Tommie Rembert, Sylvia Bonnie Marcano, David Tyers, Louis Smith, Gregory Diaz, Tammy Dunner, Stacey (Chase) Cowan, Cliff, Mr. Gallagher, Mr. Poland, Mr. Ahmed and Mr. Robinson.
