Carol Clapper

Carol Clapper, age 64, of Elizabeth City, North Carolina entered eternal rest on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center, Elizabeth City, North Carolina.  Carol was born on December 23,1957 in Annapolis, Maryland to the late Rex and Adele Martin and the widow of Carlton Whidbee. 

Carol was kind, loving, generous, and adventurous. She worked many years at Colonial Restaurant in Elizabeth City.

Carol is survived by her daughter, Tina Vargas of Elizabeth City, North Carolina one sister, Glenda Tipton (Jason) of Grandy, North Carolina; two brothers, Rex Martin and Andrew Martin (Tabatha) both of Grandy, North Carolina; three grandsons, Christian, Dylan, and Tino; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Lori Morey. 

The family will hold a private Celebration of Life Services at a later date.
